We offer in-patient rehabilitation: Neurological Rehabilitation
 
According to the World Health Organization the definition of rehabilitation is ” a process aimed at enabling people with disabilities to reach and maintain their optimal physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological and social functional levels. Rehabilitation provides disabled people with the tools they need to attain independence and self-determination.”
 
Our hospital staff will a rehabilitation program customized for the type illness and to the individual needs of the patient.
 
We provide in-patient rehabilitation for patients:
  • that have suffered a stroke: ischemic or hemorrhagic (subarachnoid hemorrhage, idiopathic cerebral hemorrhage)
  • that have undergone cerebral aneurism surgery;
  • that have undergone surgery for brain tumors or tumors of the spinal column
  • That have suffered from inflammation of the central nervous system;
  • That have suffered a head injury;
  • That have undergone a craniotomy or have had surgery for cerebral heamatoma due to trauma (intracerebral, subdural and epidural)
  • That have suffered spinal cord injury with tetraplegia and paraplegia)
  • Cervical mielopathy;
  • With demielinization and degeneration of the central nervous system
  • That have undergone intervertebral disc surgery or surgery due to degenerative stenosis
  • With other intervertebral disc diseases or spinal pain syndromes that ae teated conservatively 
  • With peripheral nerve diseases or polineuropathy
  • That have suffered injury including multitrauma
