According to the World Health Organization the definition of rehabilitation is ” a process aimed at enabling people with disabilities to reach and maintain their optimal physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological and social functional levels. Rehabilitation provides disabled people with the tools they need to attain independence and self-determination.”
 
Rehabilitation is focused on 
  • Restoring full range of motion in the joint
  • Restoring muscle strength
  • Restoring proprioreceptive senses
  • Maintaining complete independence in everyday activities
Our hospital staff will a rehabilitation program customized for the type of fracture or surgical procedure as well as for the ed method of trauma treatment (operative or non-operative).
 
We provide rehabilitation for patients:
  • That have suffered muscular-skeletal injury ,
  • That have undergone knee or hip replacement surgery,
  • That have had orthopedic surgery performed,
  • With amputations,
  • With intervertebral disc disease or that have undergone disc surgery,
  • with degenerative joint disease,
  • with reumatoid illnesses,
  • that have suffered multiple trauma
